Kisses in the morning
Playtime before noon
Dirty diapers all day
And fits to be thrown too
No ma’am, what did mommy say
Come lay over my knee
And maybe next time you’ll listen to me
With messes cleaned up and books put away
It’s time for a rest, not time for play
Well hello little monster
Are you finally up
Let me grab the baby, we’re going for a walk
Now that we’re home it’s time to make dinner
How ‘bout you sit on the counter and read some scripture
After some dishes and one more load of laundry
We’ll sit on the porch and wait for daddy
Listen, daughter, I think I hear him
Hear him I did and she gets excited
To tell him all about her day with mama and baby
Suppertime, bath time, and a book or two
Then it’s off to bed and I love you
